Those were some some seriously good football games. I can't remember a better day of college ball. The big ten acquitted themselves well.

Meyer knows the SEC and has built the Buckeyes into a team that could compete in the SEC, therefore, they had a good chance of beating Alabama, and they have a good shot of beating Oregon. Oregon is good, but that read option crap will not work against the Buckeyes like it did Florida State, because Ohio State runs a very similar offense. Their defense sees this every week.

On the flip side, Oregon's defense is not as good as their offense, but they are pretty dang good. The question will be, who can stop the familiar offense first.

Mariotta is a better option at QB to run this offense than Cardale is, but the Buckeyes have the better RB.

We will see, should make for an interesting game.

I just have to say, what amazing depth for the Buckeyes at QB. It is an embarrassment of riches.

I disagree. Nobody can simulate what Oregon does. Their system and their quarterback are better than the rest.

Not saying OSU can't win -- But they won't shut down Oregon. Should be a lot of points.

Oregon ran more different plays in one game than the Bengals have run in 20 years

I never said Oregon would struggle to score points. I said, OSU will not be as vulnerable to that crap as FSU was.

Cardale Jones is also a better passer than Mariotta is, and at times, Oregon will be forced to pass against this Buckeyes defense, and if they throw wounded ducks up for grabs over the middle, OSU will not be dropping them.

I just don't think Oregon is much of a favorite as you think they are. I still think the winner of last nights game between the Tide and Bucks should be the favorite going into this NC game as I personally think both those teams are better than Oregon.

This is the year the SEC finally came back to the pack. I suspected the rise of Ole Miss and Miss St was more the decline of the traditional powers like Alabama, Auburn and LSU and less about their emergence as national powers. Everyone talked about the dominance of the SEC west, and those five teams all lost their bowl games. Their defenses, across the board, were just not as strong. The Big Ten and ACC rose up while the SEC and Big 12 largely struggled. Parity, at last......

That Oregon team looks awesome and unstoppable. If Ohio St is going to win they'll just have to keep up with them and that won't be easy.
