I think that's the precedent in general from LA Sports. Get talented guys who can create stability over an extended period of time. Vin Scully, Chick Hearn, and Bob Miller had their jobs for pretty much a lifetime.

Not a bad idea. Everyone grew up with Vin, Chick, and Bob. Not a bad deal for the fans or the team. Kind of sad Nick didn't get the job. I will give this guy until Christmas before deciding if I hate him
