I am guessing these odds are from Bovada, though I couldnt tell from the story on the link.

I am pretty sure whoever the favorite is in Vegas will be at much shorter odds then 13/2. Probably will be 3 teams with shorter odds then 13/2.

Most of the comments apply equally as well to Toronto :rollseyes:

Your thought process is spot on however. Look for value in the East. You only have to beat ONE Western team to win the Cup. Look for a team with a top tier goalie (not sure Schneider qualifies, but hey ). Then assess the odds, and dont take the favorite. No money to be made betting the favorite.

And most important of all, if you dont like anyone, put your wallet back in your pocket and move on to keno.
