Fletcher Cox's contract revised recently to free up space... knowing Howie the way we do he isn't doing that for the heck of it.

I'm surprised Howard would even be available, he's quietly been one the NFL's best backs the last couple of years. That would be a tremendous pickup for us.

Wouldn't rule out a Shady return either; we might also be looking for DB help, a safety would be ideal... someone like Karl Joseph of the Raiders could be available for cheap, he's fallen out of favor with Gruden but might be a decent fit for us.

Another name to keep an eye on: HaHa Clinton-Dix. Last year of his contract and he feels like it may his last year in GB... once a jewel of Howie's eye in the draft years ago, he could swoop in with the right offer. I remember Howie wanted him bad in the draft and GB took him one pick before us.

Would make sense as to why Cohen was used to much against the Bucs. The Bears might not need Howard after the production Cohen gave them and can give them on a consistent basis if he just gets the ball more.

I would like to see what we have in Clement before we rush out and spend anything on a RB. I am not sure why we don't try Douglas and Safety and give Jones a shot at Mills job. I am sure they restructured Cox for a reason but I just hope it is money well spent and not just a bandaid.

Another idea that sounds like a good one to explore. I have heard Hyde floated out there too. Since Chubb is coming on either Johnson or Hyde could likely be gotten.
