I've taken about a 6 month hiatus from my 360 but have had the hankering lately to get GTA 5. I hear it's pretty sweet. As with any GTA, if you get tired of doing missions you can just fuck shit up and run from the cops. Never gets old.

Never played em'. Not a huge vidiot by any means. About the only game I play religiously is Madden. I enjoyed the Splinter Cells and COD Black Ops was pretty sweet. Thinking something like one of those to occupy some time and cure some boredom.

Does the 360 have Twitch? On the XB1 you can go to any game in the store and watch game play. That's probably the best way of finding something that is up your alley.

To be honest I'd go check out the classics you haven't touched yet, they've gotta be dirt cheap by now since even the new 360 games are only $30. There are a lot of games I totally skipped because I didn't think the campaign would be worth it for $60 but now it would be no problem to spend 10-15 dollars on. Something like Batman: Arkham City, the Bioshock series, Max Payne 3, Hitman...

Personally, if I were buying a game I'd try to get the most bang for my buck. I heard Splinter Cell: Blacklist was good but in my opinion, rarely are singleplayer games worth the price because after you play through the story once you are pretty much done with it. This applies to Bioshock as well, especially since Bioshock: Infinite is more on the short side in terms of play time. You should definitely start off with the far cheaper price and longer story of Bioshock 1 if you're looking to try that series out. Bioshock 1 is arguably the best of the series and took me way longer to finish, and since it's like 5 dollars it's a bargain (although I'm not sure if it's available for the 360).

BF4 would probably keep you hooked on the multiplayer long enough for you to get your money's worth, I've always preferred battlefield over the simplified COD. RPGs are another large source of play time, Borderlands 2 has great writing and a huge selection of guns. Skyrim is great for killing time, and while I don't like the game very much personally, there is an endless amount of content there. I'd recommend Dark Souls II for gamers who like extremely difficult games. Far Cry 3 is like Skyrim except with guns.

Just a few suggestions, hope it helped.

About halfway through Wolfenstein: New Order.

I was a big fan of the series.

That being said. It's a very worthy addition to the franchise, but:

It wants 8 gigs of hard drive space to preload the game. Yes, 8 gigs of either your 360 or 1 hard drive space.

It's slow on death reloads during game play on the 360.

But still, have had fun with it. Graphics are still impressive on a 360.

I just started the Mass Effect series. (if you're in to RPG's)
Otherwise - I'd suggest Titanfall for multiplayer online.

I used to play BF4 on the 360 - before I upgraded to the One....and its a night and day difference TBH. Dont recommend it for the 360/PS3. But I would for the X1/PS4.

Infinite should also be really cheap right now, too. They both took about the same amount of time for me to beat but I played through Infinite slower than most because I wanted to check out every nook and cranny. Both games are worth getting. The original has a better setting but is slightly dated in the gameplay department. Both are 10/10 single player experiences, imo.

But the answer is GTAV. Its the ultimate single player game for semi-casual gamers.

I picked up Bioshock 1 and 2 with all the DLC in some bundle deal for about $40 at Hastings at about the same time Infinite came out. I actually spent way more time playing Infinite, mostly because I was trying to grab all the collectibles. That, and I found Bioshock 1's game play to be more tedious than actual fun even if the story was amazing.

To the OP's question though, if you really want to sink some hours into a game I would suggest the Mass Effect series. Easily 40+ hours of game play on each game without including the DLC. Assassin's Creed IV is one that hasn't been mentioned that can definitely burn some of your time if you do all the side missions and lose track of time pillaging ships.

Titanfall is a rip. Crappy multiplayer only game. BF4 is more worth your time.

I played Bioshock 1 right after Infinite came out but I didn't play any DLC for Infinite so that may be why I thought that. Thanks for mentioning it. Bioshock 1 does have a lot more upgradable stuff though.

Yeah, now that you mention it I can kinda see that but I think that's because Infinite kind of plays out like a movie. The lack of tedious combat might have been another reason why I felt it was on the short side.

Yeah, Mass Effect is a good series, I enjoyed Mass Effect 2 the most though.

Well, I got Battlefield 3 and Splinter Cell:Blacklist for next to nothing.

Started Splinter Cell...played for an hour, then got to a part where I was supposed to be stealthy in my kills...I wasn't and alerted a shit ton on bad guys...no ammo and 100 dudes. Next to fucking impossible. Started the mission over, which took me clear-the-fuck back, so I ditched that shit. Now playing BF3...it's pretty badass IMO...enjoying it so far.
