Band of Brothers
A Dreamer...trying to find my way home for dinner
The President and Larry Baer talked about a new Baseball Urban Youth academy in SF that will give 23,000 boys and girls the chance to play ball . Classrooms, training facilities, batting cages, and two baseball fields. What a great idea. So many kids can't afford to play baseball or have places to play. Bravo to all involved and the Giants continue to lead the way especially with their Jr. Giants program which provides things like gloves to the local youth who can't afford them.
The Giants success on the field also has generated so much enthusiasm around the Bay Area. Little League baseball sign ups have gone up with the Dynasty team we have here. Just good vibes all around here by the Bay.
We should really start seeing a real force of talent coming out of SF in the next 10 years and forward. One of the best stories this year. It should be a beautiful facility.
I think it's going up around SF State University. Not sure about the location.
