New Banner?

All,

Earlier today fordman suggested an idea for a new banner and so I took the idea and ran with it and created what follows. I am willing to do some modification here and there if you guys have suggestions but I really shouldn't spend a ton more time on this since I am in the middle of learning two new jobs. So, I guess what we need to do is the following:

1. Decide whether or not we even want the banner changed and if what I have done or will do is any better than the one we already have.

2. If the answer to 1 is to change it, post any suggestions, if any, to the current drafts posted below. I don't have an issue if you post suggestion that would require me creating a totally different draft, as long as it is relatively simple.

3. Tell me where to send the final images, what are posted here are print screens of program I am using to create it. Note that the gray is just an artifact from the print screen. So the final image will be crisper.

Also, I should note that I will not be offended at all if you choose to just keep the current banner. (less work for me anyway)

Of the options you presented, I like it the way it is, but if you're taking suggestions I'd love one that includes Beltre going to one knee to take one out of the park.

It's a bit red for me, but I love the logo in the middle. Maybe some extra graphics would take it over the top.

I like the red but can live with blue ... and like you added Beltre and Darvish to it like I suggested. May want to see if those images can be enhanced a bit.

Otherwise ..its great. More dynamic than a banner including the shot of RBIA.

what do you mean by swoosh? The Rangers T's or the starburst like effect... either way... here is a look at either:

here it is in front of everything... but now you can see the cheap and dirty keying job I did on the Beltre image. I could make it better.

Thats cool, I guess I will let everyone marinate on it a day and check back Thursday. So far it seems like many are content with just keeping it as is.
