I agree with you on the heart part plus the Warriors had a much better coach.

I am actually very surprised at what a great job Jackson has done. I didn't expect much from him as a coach, but he has done an amazing job getting guys to reach their potential and believing in the team. Hopefully guys don't burn out on him; if they keep having success under him it should be hard to.

It depends on Harrison Barnes' development.

I would say the Nets especially if they hired a better coach. Deron Williams did not start playing like Deron Williams until after the break and if they get a better coach who have them playing a more uptempo style they would be a 50+ win team next year.

As for the Warriors it is possible that they lose Landry & Jack in the offseason and they played like shit in the last few months of the season until the playoffs.

If they lose both Jack and Landry, I'm not sure they even make the playoffs next year

Might be right, but that has more to do with playing in the West vs. playing in the East.

Well to be fair Williams if he shot as much as Curry he would of avg 26 as well. Curry attempted 3 more shots than him in the 2nd avg and only avg 3 more PPG. Williams avg 23 PPG on 48% shooting and 16 shots. Curry avg 26 on 19 shots

That's by design. Curry had to take over the offensive responsibilities. In years past, he preferred to pass or set up other players first (when Monta was still there)

There is a reason Jack handles the ball when he and curry are both in the game so to say a guy who is not a real PG is more of a PG than a guy who is a true PG shows how little you know

How many games did you watch?

Curry handled the ball late in games most of the year. The times he didn't, the plan was to draw the defense and open up the court for other matchups.

On a less than 100% ankle, why force him to dribble to get open, especially against the inevitable double?

Having Jack handle the ball isn't a slight on Curry but a nod to the versatility of the W's backcourt.

The Kings (now owned by the previously 3rd highest shareholder of the Warriors) is looking to take some of the Warriors mgmt to Sac, including Mike Malone, who draws the X's and O's for the team.

If they lose Malone to the Kings or some other NBA team, it might have a bigger impact than the difference between Jack/Landry and their replacements.

They may make the playoffs again but I don't know when is the next time they get to round 2 if they lose Jack and Landry

Losing Jack would be a bigger loss than Landry, imo

He ran the sub team better than Curry ran the first team at times. Made a big difference in games.

I think the Warriors can get by without Landry with a healthy Bogut, Lee, Ezili, Draymond rotation if they need to but having a starting caliber pg off the bench is way too valuable to this team.

Back to thread subject, the Nets are probably the better team "on paper" but I just cannot deny the Warriors chemistry, mentally they're strong.

Relying upon a rookie class which took them to the 2nd round, one of their biggest flaws all season were turnovers. Experience going forward should help limit that.

I wouldnt go as far as saying the nets starting lineup is better than the warriors when healthy of course.
