With all the SportsHoopla surrounding the refs and Bo's demeanor last Saturday night, the piss poor execution of NU's offense over the last 3 games has taken a back seat. I imagine Watson is relieved for that.

That being said, with all the message board and radio grumbling in regards to the offense, there is an eerie silence from Bo outside of acknowledging the lack of execution there.

All last season, during the off season, and in the beginning of this season Bo was always in support of Watson. Saying that Wats was doing a good job, they were on the same page, yada yada.
I don't think I've heard Bo address Wats since probably the Texas game.

I wonder if there's anything to that, or if the media just isn't going there with their questions?

Dunno..

Can anyone find me a statement of support from Bo regarding Watson in the last 4 weeks?

I've looked and can't find anything.

I really just don't see Bo taking any action........I'm guessin Watson will be gone if he ever gets his chance to take another job, but otherwise he's ours for a while

I may be reading into the lack of info..

It's possible the Martinez injury in the Missouri game has maintained the focus of the media's interest and questions since then, and then the A&M distractions last week were a huge distraction.

I guess I can't really expect to find a direct response in regards to Wats if Bo hasn't even been specifically asked to address his level of support.

The program is in a fishbowl down there. It just seems odd not one reporter in a month has asked the blunt question after the Iowa St and Kansas games..

It's been 3 games (3 weeks of practice) that the offense has been inept because a redshirt freshman is injured?

WTF would NU's record be without this redshirt freshman?

people like to defend Wats because his offense lit up Missouri and Ok State...

but they ignore his obvious lack of adjustment and his intent on moving away from what's working on offense..

In Nebraska's 6 losses in the past 2 seasons, the offense has mustered 2 total TD's. :L

Va Tech (2009) No TD's
Tx Tech (2009) 1 TD
Iowa St (2009) 1 TD
Texas....(2009) No TD's
Texas....(2010) No TD's
Tx A&M.(2010) No TD's

i dont understand watson and why he wont change anything, go back to iowa st and the A&M game, we ran the wildcat with burkhead taking direct snaps, AND IT WORKED! then in both games he got away from it and nothing else worked, and then he NEVER WENT BACK TO IT!
stick to something that works, especially when our starting qb is injured!

Watson needs to go!
