Good luck with that.

Welcome to Lincoln. I did a road trip to Minneapolis last year and was pleasantly surprised with a Nebraska victory.

That's a great trophy, not so great was the fucking awful traffic in Minny when I was there over the summer. Enjoy Lincoln, nice little town that

Last year's thread for your perusal

Nebraska @ Minnesota Week

Some early doubt from husker fans. I'm hoping for fun time out. I hear Nebraska fans are good hosts, which can't be said of all teams in B1G.

I'm season ticket holder for Gophers for few years, so was at TCF 3 years ago when they won, was fun to storm the field. The Nebraska fans that were in MN were very nice, both before and after.

Was also there last year..not so fun

If the fake $5 bills are still there, they have Bo Pelini and Jerry Kill on them. I think they are underneath the chair.

Hopefully, someone lacquered them on there.

You can just walk around the entire downtown without even crossing a street. Literally.

I love Minneapolis.

I was in town on the same weekend the rainbow thumpers were having their yearly parade downtown, where I stayed, it was maddening. No they wouldn't let me in the parade. Really enjoyed the town however

In Minneapolis last year, there was a Night of the Living Dead event going on the same day as the football game.

So, we rode the train with quite a few people dressed up as Zombies heading to the parties wherever they might have been.

We stayed at the Hotel Minneapolis. No one was dressed up as zombies there. My guess, most of the zombies could not afford it.

I couldn't sleep the other night so I started surfing youtube. Last years Nebraska Minnesota game popped up and I played the 1 hour version.

No joke, I shit you not, Minnesota's offense put me to sleep.

We have new oc, but yes we're conservative on offense. Gophers try to shorten game and reduce possessions

Just need someone other than Mitch Leidner out there. He's about as edgy as a butterknife lol.

What offense does your new OC run?

Oh and trust me, we've been there. Our '09 team would have been the first since '99 to win a conference title if our offense wasn't in I formation the whole game going run, run, failed pass, punt then run, run, run, punt.

I happen to like leidner. Kids tough as nails and great leader

We'll still be run first team but jay likes to get his players in space more. I'm not expecting drastic changes but hoping for fewer runs up the middle

Our old offense was dysfunctional

Our oc called run plays
Our qb coach called pass plays
And our hc choose which one we ran

More passing would have just resulted in a few picks. Texas had a really good defense, and let's face the truth, they had the better team and a better coach too. The 2010 TU vs NU game proved for sure that Mack Brown was a better coach than Mad Dog Bo was.
