i saw it this morning n it had NU as 9.5 point favorites, that was on some betting site.

i thought that was way to high, i mean texas has great players, they can compete with anyone in the nation on any given day, but i guess vegas knows what there doing.

Believe it or not, about 99% of the betting public reside outside of the state of Nebraska

Most people placing wagers on the game will see three things:

1) Highly ranked Nebraska vs. un-ranked Texas
2) Game being played in Memorial Stadium
3) 5-0 Nebraska vs. 3-2 Texas

9.5 points seems about right, especially considering how Nebraska has fared against the spread in its last two games (+32 points vs. Washington and +23.5 vs. K-State)

Now, will I bet on this game? Absolutely not. But getting even money on each side at 9.5 seems plausible for the books.

Yea I just look at the history of these two teams..........it seems like even when one team appears to be way better than the other it still ends up being a 1 score game.

Even Clownahan had 2 teams come close to pulling off upsets against Texas.

With all that said, I still predict 26-9 Huskers
