This is Iowa's bowl game. Just like KState was Baylor's bowl game.

After all the years we've played teams like Iowa State and Colorado, we should know better by now en sech.

All I'm saying is, we better come ready to play football. I will be so unbelievably embarrassed if we lose to this struggling team with the BIG Championship looming a week later.....

I'll be even more embarrassed if we lose to Iowa and then Michigan loses to Ohio State, allowing us to back our way into the Championship game.

My buddy (who'll be in Iowa) for Thanksgiving just found 4 tickets (together) for the game for $50 total. The face value on the tickets are $75 apiece.

However I'm not fully boned up over our Defense just yet to go taking the points on this one

I just don't see any likely scenarios where Iowa can move the ball effectively/efficiently on us.

3 and outs all day long.

I respect their back seven. That's about it.

They could definitely give Taylor a hard time in the passing game, but I don't see us needing to pass the ball much.

It would take a monster effort by their D. Like legendary. I'm talking 5+ forced turnovers.

Iowa State beat us in their Bowl game just a couple years ago by doing exactly that........forcing turnovers.

It scares the shit out of me just thinking about fumbles and how fast those things can turn a game.

I'll never forget back in the 90's a couple times there when Colorado absolutely sucked.........and yet they took us to the cot damn wire and made us all shit our pants.

We need to approach this game exactly how we approached the Minnesota game.........with a business-like approach. With as much veteran leadership as we have on this team, there should be no excuse for some weird ass let down.

I'm still a bit nervous though. These next 2 games (assuming we are in the BIG Championship game) I am going to be absolutely pumped.

Should be a cakewalk. But this team always has the potential to fuck things up big time.

This Iowa team packed it in after the Indiana loss. Until that point they had at least fought hard in every game. Iowa has 4 losses by 3 points or less but the Indiana game was huge. A win there and we were still in good shape in the division but after that loss they pretty much threw in the towel.
