this will be their first win vs a top 5 team since 1998 (not counting the weird covid game).
honestly i haven't seen nd play this REALLY good against a legitimate team for many years. just dominant!

defense was exceptional, offense still has some work to do. ran the ball well, but rees's play calling just seems too predictable. need to roll pyne out, and play action pass. short high percentage passes, get the ball out quick, until things open up down field.
