OH DEAR GOD!!!! THIS IS SO DUMB!!!

Wilmer Valderrama Joins NCIS as Season 14 Series Regular

The actor, who just wrapped a five-episode arc on Grey’s Anatomy, will play a “once grounded NCIS field agent who accepted a deep cover assignment years ago and never resurfaced. Many agents don’t know he’s still on the job or that he’s even alive. Now, he’s back and his dedication to job and country has left him an unpredictable, charismatic loose cannon.”

"Wilmer Valderrama will be able to flex his dramatic, physical and comedic talents in this classic NCIS role," said executive producer Gary Glasberg. "Fans are going to see him like they've never seen him before. This is going to be fun. We're thrilled he's coming aboard."

why is this "going to be fun?"

If you ask me NCIS is the best show to debut this century. That said adding Fez seems like a step back for the show. Oh well at least Gibbs will have a new person to smack in the back of the head as he did Tony in Fez.

On the surface, I am not thrilled with Fez joining either. But remember that Mark Harmon was a bit a slapstick comedian early in his career as well. Now he is behind one of the greatest dramatic TV characters ever.

Yes I agree with you. They pushed the envelope with LA and they certainly blew their load making New Orleans

Fez can act seriously but I just won't be able to see him as a serious character and how he is "getting his start" just sounds so stupid to me

Wilmer Valderrama is the best new addition the show has had in years!!! He's definitely not Fez any more. But the other two new cast members are boring as hell. They need to lose them in a hurry!

UPDATE:

Michael Weatherly won't rule out a return to NCIS

They might've been denied their happy ending on NCIS – but have we really seen the last of Ziva David and Tony DiNozzo?

Speaking to Digital Spy to promote his new series Bull, Michael Weatherly told us he'd "never say never" to returning to NCIS, or an on-screen reunion with Cote de Pablo.

"I absolutely see worlds where DiNozzo and other characters could pop up [again]," he said. "It is something I'm very keen to explore when the time is right."

De Pablo left NCIS in 2013, with Weatherly following her out the door last year. In DiNozzo's final episode, he learnt that Ziva (de Pablo) had apparently been killed, and resigned from his position to care for their young child.

But fans are still eager to see the popular pairing back together – with some speculating that Ziva character could still be alive, since the character's body was never recovered.

"I would never say!" Weatherly teased, when we asked if the fan theories could be true. But he added: "Whether or not it's in Bull or in some other iteration of an NCIS, I would say there's always the chance of [me reuniting with Cote].

"She's one of my favourite people. For eight years, we got to have a lot of fun. Certainly, in terms of chemistry, I've never had anyone like that rattle my brain!"

Huh, strange story:

The Decider said:
Two actors involved in an NCIS: New Orleans robbery scene are suing CBS for misleading them into shooting the hyper-realistic moment. According to TMZ, the actors claim that CBS orchestrated the “guerilla-style” heist scene without obtaining proper permits or giving warning to neighbors, and as a result, police arrived and pointed guns at them.

The Decider said:
According to the lawsuit, which was filed in Los Angeles, the scene in question involved the actors jumping out of an unmarked van in ski masks with fake assault rifles. As part of the scene, they yelled, “This is a robbery!,” at which point a neighboring store owner allegedly called 911. The men claim that when police arrived, they drew their weapons, and they allege that had they not immediately complied, they could have been killed.

I think I remember this happening in the news. Kinda a serious eff-up by the producers/location managers. These guys probably have a case.

And holy hell.... How weren't they shot?!?!

Chicago Fire did this with the episode of a plane crashing on the interstate in the first or second season. The local news came on and told people to avoid the area reporting it as if it actually was happening.

Wow, what timing for that episode. I assume it was originally set to air last week, but they (rightfully) decided to wait a week.

I really miss NCIS: New Orleans. I thought it was the best of the 3 shows at the time of its cancellation, but it was cursed with the late-night Sunday slot. If the time slots had been reversed & NCIS: New Orleans had aired before NCIS: Los Angeles, then I believe Los Angeles would have been the show getting the axe.
