Expect Kansas, LSU and Arizona to also get fucked.
i've always respected Oklahoma State for some reason
hopefully their band comes to play at the Greensboro Coliseum or the Spectrum Center in Charlotte
NCAA can fuck off.
So if I'm doing the math correctly, shouldn't Kansas get hit with a 5 year postseason ban?
Kansas should just die
piss off Danny Manning
Kansas is going to get probation.
This is over an assistant coach who was getting paid illegally to steer athletes to certain agents. There were no recruiting violations or lack of institutional control. The NCAA stated that Oklahoma State gained no competitive advantage due to this. The assistant coach was fired almost immediately after it was found out what he was doing.
And oh yeah, it happens right when we get a monster recruiting class. This is a bunch of bullshit.
Ah yes, the NCAA really throwing a bold statement out with this.
That statement of course being "Unless you are one of the elite programs, better not get caught"
20% of the Big 12 may be ineligible.
Wake Forest has a very good band and fight song.
Wake's fight song is great, but i'm not a fan of the band. Mostly b/c it's such a small band.
it's embarrassing watching that small band trot onto the field during halftime @ football games
that's just football though, i don't have a problem with them during basketball games
I say quality over quantity! I used to take my daughter there every week for violin lessons and sometimes I'd witness their practices
This small band embarrasses the Rice authorities at times. But, not as much as they piss off opponents.
Make that 30%.
"But, that said, it's impossible to digest what just happened to Oklahoma State and feel good about things if you're connected to Kansas or South Carolina or TCU or NC State or USC or Arizona or LSU or Auburn or Louisville or Creighton or Alabama, all of which had staff members exposed as rule-breakers by the FBI. I mean, if Oklahoma State got hit this hard for one Level I violation committed by a person it fired within hours of his transgressions being made public, even after the school, according to the NCAA, cooperated completely, what is that gonna mean for these other schools?"
Didn't Louisville just get off probation??
The Big 12 still exists?
So if all these programs get put on a postseason ban the same year, I think there's a good shot we could see teams at or below .500 make the tournament. For 2021 anyway you're looking at potentially 8 or so teams that would have likely been in with Oklahoma State, LSU, Auburn, Kansas, Arizona, UK, Creighton and USC. That's not even counting bubble teams like Bama and NC State. Probably the only way the Gophers will make the S16 again.
What did their band do?
Separate names with a comma.
