Dragic and Waiters both missed about half the season. One guy missed 46 games and the other missed 38

If those guys are there for 60-65 games or so then they instantly win another 4-5 games last year.

Your win total going to take a significant hit if you're starting backcourt/2 of your top 5 players missed a total of 84 games last year combined...and it didn't help a lot of times they were both injured at the same time.

So cut the number of games those 2 missed in half and that is a 43-45 win team IMO

If you think that 30 something wins isn't a realistic possibility then I don't know what to say. Waiters is not exactly a perennial all-star.

IIRC the Kings were 38.5. I actually liked the over on that. I see them as a low 40s win team.

I don't think they are going to win 30 games. But if things go south with Butler I do think that 38 or 39 is a possibility. He's a mercurial figure.

After they fired a coach who nearly got them to .500 and had them in 9th, which for this franchise is impressive, Walton has a lot of pressure so him having a hot seat depending on how the season starts isn't out of the question. But unless they completely fold and are a bottom 3-5 team or any off court drama gets to be too much of a distraction I don't think he'd be fired after or during 1 season.

They need to keep moving forward, even if they didn't sign someone like Kawhi they did improve their team in the offseason after winning 39 games last season. I'm ready for the playoff drought to end.

Bucks - 58 - over
Sixer - 55 - over
Clippers 54.5 - under (but not by much) They are going to start without PG and Kawhi seems fully committed to load management. That could cost them a couple of games.
Jazz 54.5 - under
Rockets 54.5 - over they are the ultimate regular season team. Adding Westbrook will get them a couple more wins, but they still don't get out of the West.
Nuggets 53 - over
Lakers - 50 - push If everyone stays healthy, they have the talent to push for 60. But it's probably going to take a minute to get everyone on the same page on the court and I expect they will load manage Lebron and to a lesser extent, AD.
Celtics 49.5 - over
Warriors 48.5 - under (barely)
Pacers 47.5 - over
Spurs 47.5 - under
Blazers - 46.5 -over
Raptors 46 - under
Heat 44.5 - over if Jimmy Butler works out, they could be in the top 4 in the East. If he doesn't, they could miss the playoffs. I think he works out.
Magic 42.5 - over
Mavericks 41.5 - over
Kings 38.5 - over (barely)
Pelicans 38.5 - over
Pistons 38 - push
Hawks 36 - push
Twolves 35.5 - under
Bulls 33.5 - over
Thunder 31.5 - under
Suns 29.5 - over

Wizards 26.5 - over (unless Beal leaves)
Cavs 26.5 - under this team is hard to pick. They have enough that if they actually put their best lineups on the floor, they could push for the 8 spot in the East. But if they are committed to tanking, they can make moves that would put them under the projection. I think they're committed to tanking.
