Bucks - Under. Hard to bet on a team winning 59 games.
Sixers - Under. I think they will be doing too much load management of Embiid and Horford
Clippers -Under. See Sixers
Jazz - Over. They burned me last year but I think they will be better this year
Rockets - Over. I don't think their chances of winning a title have improved but their chances of winning more regular seasons games improved
Nuggets - Over. They should get better
Lakers - Over Honestly this would be one of my favorite picks. Load management issues SHOULD be a factor but Lebron doesn't like to sit.
Celtics - Under. That front court is just too thin.
Warriors - Under. Klay is going to miss too many games and even if Russell does fit in it will take some time.
Pacers - Under. Pretty close but I lean towards 46 wins
Spurs - Under. Pop can't keep miracling this team to overperformances
Blazers - Under for no particular reason
Raptors - Over. I feel like they still have lots of talent although they are likely doom to mid tier irrelevance for a while
Heat - Over but I could absolutely see them as a 30 something win team.
Nets - Over but I think 44 sounds right for them.
Magic - Under. Team still has structural problems with their roster
Mavs - Under. Porzingas will get hurt again
Pels - Under. Could be the worst defensive team in the league with Zion and JJ on the court
Pistons - Who cares? Honestly this team is doomed to 38-42 wins indefinitely.
Hawks over. Their young kids will improve
Twolves over. Enough talent to be a 40 win team but not much more.
Bulls under. Their young guys need to do too much
Thunder under. Tankapalooza means 30 wins is safely out of reach
Suns -Under I can't even remember if they did anything this offseason
Grizz - Under. There may be some college teams with an older average age than this team
Knicks - Under See Thunder

The Heat won 39 games last year. You moved Richardson and Whiteside and brought in Butler and some rookies.

Butler is probably good for a net improve of 4 or 5 games but that is far from guaranteed.

So we will just ignore all the games the starting backcourt missed last season? LOL

Dragic and Waiters both missed about half the season. One guy missed 46 games and the other missed 38

If those guys are there for 60-65 games or so then they instantly win another 4-5 games last year.

Your win total going to take a significant hit if you're starting backcourt/2 of your top 5 players missed a total of 84 games last year combined...and it didn't help a lot of times they were both injured at the same time.

So cut the number of games those 2 missed in half and that is a 43-45 win team IMO
