Hot take: Luka's going to dominate tonight and all the headlines tomorrow gonna be killing Trae Young and the Hawks (possibly Kings too with Bagley)

Edit: Just read he's not playing. Already so humble for letting the other rookies shine before he shows them how much better he is than all of them.

Nice to see Korkmaz come out and hit some shots, could be a valuable piece with Bellineli gone.

Dallas is still trying to buy out Luka’s Real Madrid contract last I heard.

Kinda not fair that Semi Ojeleye is playing summer league... he's just too man-sized strong for these skinny kids.

Korkmaz looks like a player.

Always had a pretty good shot. Hopefully he stays healthy all season. No better player to learn from than Redick.

Has there ever been a guy start a playoff game and summer league game?

It's a good question... maybe not... however, in all seriousness, Semi legitimately needs the work... his defense and strength is all star level... his offensive game is D league.

That surprised me last year in regards to how poorly he looked offensively. He shot it very well from 3 in college, which you would think would be translatable to the NBA. He dominated the AAC both offensively and defensively his last year in college. He was a monster. He'll be an interesting piece. If you guys don't resign Smart, I think that could be his role next season, but a little better offensively and a little taller.

Lmao at flexing on someone during summer league and having your assignment blow right past you down the court.

Semi is such a cool, rare kinda prospect... a freakish athlete who isn't freaky explosive, but freaky strong. I think at the lower levels of competition folks just can't deal with his ox strength and he puts up numbers.

At the NBA level, though, he really lacks a good handle and isn't explosive... he looks awful whenever he is forced to put the ball on the floor.

That's ok, though... he can still become a very serviceable role player at this level... if he can develop an above average 3 pt shot. If he gets to 38-40% from deep... he can be a very useful stretch 4 or even 5 that can defend any switch, anywhere... a great modern big.

We'll see how comes along, though... obviously I'm high on him. ;)

I loved him coming out of SMU. But he didn't shoot it the way he did there, last year. If he can get that form back, he's an incredible piece off the bench. Boston will have an embarrassment of riches at the forward position, if he does.

If we could only blend Korkmaz and Semi together... we'd have basketball Jesus! :D

Korkmaz lighting Summer League up... just broke down and stepped back against Ojeleye... got a great looking shot all the way through.
