I like Shane in 1st half. 2nd half there are advantages to both teams - man if there was just one player to space out Russ-Pearl-Nique instead of all 3 being predominantly slashers I think I'd vote for Stakes because I LOVE the Dream/AD combo. I'm going Shane here. If this was a 7 game series it might come down to home court adv. Neutral court I'd take Shane in 7 with MJ elevating over Russ for the W

I think this matchup comes down to the 2nd half.

First half pretty even, possibly slight either way but not enough.

2nd half.

There are defensive liabilities for both teams but both 4-5 duos are nasty.

That would be fun to watch. But I think the perimeter shooter around MJ makes the difference. I think the pick-n-roll with Nash-Karl would be deadly as well. AD-RW aint bad either lol. Just think RW guarding Nash could take some out of him and he would start settling for shots.

I just can't see a way around Earl Monroe on defense in the second half. It's the biggest hole of both teams. I think my team could win two at home in a best of seven though.

I was a pick away from having Vince Carter instead of Earl and I think that would've been a different argument as being three inches taller and more physical would help tremendously

I will go with Shane's team over mine.

I don't agree. If I wouldn't have picked Mullin for Phase 1 I would have been screwed. If I didn't trade up for Nash I would have missed out on an elite PG. Those two right there probably won be the ship. No draft is decided in the first 3 rounds imo

I actually like Stakes first half a bit better than Shane's. I think Stakes would be able to have a slight lead going into half. After that I think Shane's squad again is super balanced and with the 3 point shooting of Nash and Mullin, they'd be able to get back in it quickly. I think Shane's second half beats out Stakes team narrowly in the second half and would take the win.

Going with Shane.
