Aren't some of these "family" ownership? I don't think it's allowed to have ownership in every major sports league in the US.

I don't agree about Kanter's motives. I think it's more about political grandstanding and attention than anything else. The WNBA doesn't have a trans issue (or even any trans players trying to enter). If anything, the wording of the eligibility rules are closed to trans players. "Must be a woman" is the rule, not must identify as a woman. There is no fix needed unless you DO want to open it up to trans athletes.

Kaep's issues were about supporting minority race issues. That's forever been divisive in this country. Those in power tried to divert those arguments to being anti-American to drown them (and essentially did, along with his career).

Besides, the man deciding he has to fix things for the women is pretty degrading, even if unintentional.

I think that is the issue. There are no specific regulations like many other sports have started using.

My guess is that Letart will be allowed to play. This is much different than Enes Kanter trying to play.
