Based on what the statement said, it appears that he has either been vaccinated or had a negative test result. He may not have said anything publicly, but I would expect that the league knows his status.

That's what I was saying a few days ago. The league knows if he has or hasn't been vaccinated. No way LeBron attends an event like that without following the proper league protocols. He would never put himself in a position to miss playoff games.

I don't think it helps the odds of top 5 pick or picking #1. What it does is make it so winner cannot drop past 8, the loser past 9.

edit - #1 odds do not change, but getting a top 5 pick enhanced for the winner.

You originally gave us betting odds. There was no spin on my part.

udacy.com/923thefan/sports/cleveland-browns/power-ranking-has-browns-ravens-well-ahead-of-steelers?fbclid=IwAR16EVFmbu8T43oqGRr3RKsF8INm7ePMwlKY1DEpVQTuy_LR4DF134JxPeU

"King has the Browns as the 4th best team in the league with only the Chiefs, Buccaneers and Bills in front of them."

You mentioned who referenced who would have to be the favorites. I gave the first list the google picked up. You immediately said the list was invalid because it disagreed with your feelings, but now King is right? None of these lists will prove accurate. It's just guessing, but they are who is considered the favorites months before anyone suits up for real.

Said it's invalid because most realize betting odds not the same as rankings...odds often go by what they think emotional fans will do who bet with their feelings.

Ironic, huh?

Sadly, there are no experts whose opinions are any more valid than the betting odds.

K...but when they rank teams they rank them based on who they think is better. Betting odds do not follow the same formula. Do you really not get this?

Do you not get that as soon as those odds are open for bets, the opinions of the fans move them to a consensus point essentially?

In fact I do. And? That just makes you look more foolish in thinking something that will change means more.

I know a lot about this, been betting real games for 30 years. What you will find is that in the pros the odds to win are pretty dang close to what it would be if it was a true ranking system. You are never going to get true odds on the teams like the Lakers because Vegas doesn’t have to give them. But it’s closer in the pros than it is in college. And the point about adjustments being made is valid. Wiseguys keep Vegas as honest as they are going to be.

...and rankings don't change week to week, lol?
They do.....during the season. Not as likely between now and start of season. The ones from casinos change as bets come in. Other than a major trade, why would ranking change now?
