Only chance the Lakers have is if all of these things happen:

Clippers beat the Thunder
Spurs beat the Blazers minus Wemby
And Lakers beat GS tomorrow
So I guess on the first 2 that is what you think would have to happen for the thunder to care about the Nuggets game Friday?

Unless you think someone else is beating the Thunder for the Lakers, who cares? They'll have to face them sometime. Playoff runs in LA only count if they end with a win.

Its crazy that division winners dont get the top seeds. Seriously, why even have divisions?

Denver is capable of beating OKC.

That is by far your best chance.

Exactly

Thunder clinch tonight and I expect you will see a lot of Nikola Topic, Barnhizer and Brendan Carlson against the Nuggets.

Pretty good chance that neither team will care about spilling any blood in that one lol

Speaking of Carlson, been really impressed with what he has done with the minutes he has gotten. He will get more minutes elsewhere soon.

Actually the Spurs, but that can only be in the WCF.
Going to take a monumental effort by whoever, not saying it’s impossible though.

We are talking about the Lakers best chance.

If the Lakers were the 3 seed, who would they play in round 2?

Try to keep up

On Fanduel you now have to bet $7000 to win $100 on Shai to win the mvp.

Hence my point about the Spurs only meeting them in the WCF. You're lagging behind...condescend much?

Thunder have won 3 straight by more than 30 points. Only other team to do that was the 71 Phoenix Suns. Let’s get the playoffs started.
Just read a good article about how it’s hard to evaluate big wins and long winning streaks this year late, because literally 1/3 of your opponents are actively trying to lose to you. So when the Lakers go 14-2 or whatever but 7 of the wins are vs tankers, how useful is that statistic?

It certainly matters who you play. I mean everyone earlier in the season were talking about the Thunders easy schedule in those first 26 games. Asking those lines the Spurs schedule during their steak of late has been awful. Our eyes don’t fail us on how well teams are playing though.

Only when it is deserved.

Why don’t you go back and read the previous comments and what you replied to.

I responded directly to your quote where you said seeding doesn’t matter unless someone beat OKC for the Lakers.

Denver could do that if the Lakers were the 3 and were able to face SA in round 2.

SA beating OKC does nothing for the Lakers.

Which is what I alluded to, despite the Spurs being the best chance of beating the Thunder based on the regular season matchups.

The misdirected attitude is unnecessary. If you think I don't understand a playoff ladder, then....

Your reply of

“Actually the Spurs, but that can only be in the WCF”

To my comment of Denver being the Lakers best chance for a team to beat OKC for them doesn’t make a lot of sense then does it?

That was the implied point of the post.

Enough, dead issue.
