Navarro is playing great at AAA

since he can play every infield and outfield position, seems to have good hands and instincts,
can he learn to catch also.

but seriously, did anyone get to see him play ss. how good is he defensively.

I dont know, but since they are moving him around, I guess they dont think he can play short long term.

I have seen opinions, both by fans on this board (element, perhaps?) and sportswriters that Navarro is not very good defensively at SS. But the consensus is the same for Harrison. So, between those two, it comes down to which player has the better bat.

Mercer seems to remain in the running to be a possible long-term solution at SS. If so (as has been suggested by others), it seems reasonable to send him back to Indy for regular playing time, and to bring Navarro (or someone else) back up.

There's been some speculation that Clement may be brought up (short term) to DH against AL teams.
