For Kubrick I would have to go with The Shining, but the first movie I think of any time I think of Kubrick is A Clockwork Orange. Personally, not a big fan of him.

Kubrick is my guy, and probably Dr. Strangelove, but almost everything he did was a masterpiece, from Lolita to 2001 to A Clockwork Orange to The Shining to Full Metal Jacket.

On M. Night Shyamalan, I knew him in college, he was friends with one of my roommates and we played pickup basketball together in the NYU gym. Back then...he went by Manush.
