I know there is a thread of this name already.
But here is what I see going into the off season
D-line
I expect we will resign Pot Roast, keep Baker, RJF and Peea. Hatcher will likely retire and Golston is a bit long in the tooth. So we will need to bring in some help here as well as an actual starter at one of the DE spots. Kearse will be around for camp, but Im hoping we get a little more comp in there.
Line Backers, Kerrigan leads a rather pedestrian bunch. But I expect us to resign Gallett and add him to Murphy and Smith who will both become backups. Seeing us grab a young FA or draft a rookie OLB would not shock at all.
Inside LBs.... aside from Compton and Foster who both stepped up, the group is vanilla and injury prone. I could see them letting Robinson walk and Riley is sadly naught more than depth. Here is where i expect we will spend a rather high draft pick or two between ILB and OLB respectively. Ragland comes to mind as he has the chops to play both inside spots, and likely could flex out to the OLB spot if needed.
Secondary..... I actually think this group has the potential to be the strongest unit on the defense... If every comes back and can stay healthy. I actually like hall as a SS, and Jarrett along with Goldson make a decent unit with some room to grow. Yes i think we need a 4th and 5th safety, but I think we could be solid on starters.
CB... this hinges on Culliver getting healthy. But we know Breeland can play. Dunbar held up extremely well for some one who was a WR 4 months ago. And again I think this is all going to be about health and depth.
