He's gonna be 6 years old when it starts. 6.

I think that's pretty fucking ridiculous, but he wants to play.

Pee Wee Football sickens me....I guess I have to cuss at opposing teams parents and the refs/coach to fit in properly, though.

I'll do my best. You can be darn sure I'll be packin some whiskey in a water bottle when I go to the games. Facing my other family members requires that.....

I'm in that boat kramer1, I gave him a choice between baseball, soccer, and football.
my 5 year old picked soccer, and he's silly as hell and doesn't pay attention and spent half of a game crying Saturday because he was cold.

my 6 year old is a little better physically and picked football. Not sure what he's getting into, but we'll just let him have fun. He probably doesn't pay good enough attention to be on offense, so hopefully they'll let him chase people down as a safety or linebacker.

last year they played "pre-t-ball"
which is more like an instructional saturday camp to teach them "fun fun fundamentals".
Good Lord they both got bored with that so fast, I was sorry I did that, now they hate baseball.

They're 6. I'm not sure what the hell they can teach them. I see it as a waste of $100, but whatever.

$100.00 things have changed there was no charge for sports when I was that age,49 years ago,,,money is never really wasted on your kids,if he has fun and learns anything it will be money well spent

Screw the curve. It'll mess up your elbow if you start too early.

Change-up. no strees. Arm action mimicks fastball. Kids can't hit it because all they see is fastball.

Great thing about the change is you can start teaching it from day one.

At my school, we don't even start playing football until 7th grade. Otherwise it seems kids decide they don't like it/aren't good enough and don't even try it out.

I've heard some pretty bad stories about parents taking this pee-wee shit too far though. Geez, they're not even 10 yet.

I've seen just atrocious behavior by the 'adults' at Pee wee games. Little league games, too. I think the root of all issues in this county comes down to the number of just unbelievebly shitty parents there are out there.

I tell my kid to pay attention to the game at his soccer games.

He likes to run over and talk to us while his team is trying to score.

...

this is while he's on the field... in the game.
