My hubby, god bless his soul, is one of those wannabe enviro-friendly hipster types. Before we bought our new car, I told him to knock it off this one time and get a real macho truck. Sometimes mamma wants to drive like a mother.

What does he do? He goes out and spends all our money on a Prius. A god damn fucking Prius. Momma wasn't having any of that. I crashed that sissy shit first chance I got. Used my lipstick to simulate a little blood and he bought right into it.

Once the insurance kicks in, I'm getting us a Ford.

The best part was coming home and telling him the hospital took like 300 x-rays. I love him so much - he'll believe anything I say so long as I keep him supplied with Starbucks coffee.
