Who in the hell, gets ejected when you've completely annihilated the opposing team?

lolololol...it still cracks me up

Turn the situation around, Murphy would have just smiled and sat down (even in his better hitting days)

and our beloved announcers

(muttering)
"he isn't complaining about that call is he?"
"I hope not"
"oh grab some pine, you've got to be kidding me"

Exactly.

Looks as if he's headed to Cleveland for 2 years and over $10 Million. I'll miss the guy but not the player. Hope he does ok for them and enjoys his time there. Also hope against us in 2014 he does what he did best in 2013, ground out and foul out with men on base.

One time a little less than a year ago I asked my scout friend to tell me who the best overall human was on the rangers. Who cared the most, who was the smartest, the nicest, and everything under that category. He said David Murphy.I completely expected him to say MY, but he said murph. He was awful this year, make no mistake. But if and when he comes back to arlington hes getting a standing ovation from me.

Me too. I've met the guy twice, once down in the players' parking garage where the team gathers with family after the game, and once at the Central Market in Southlake. Both times he was with his family so I didn't want to bother him. But both times he did engage me in brief yet really friendly conversation after I said hi. He couldn't have been nicer, and just the way he was with his little girls you could tell he is a good family man. I cringed every time he came to bat for us last year, but I'll still cheer for him as a person. Great guy.

Murph was one of my favorite Rangers. Prior to this year, you could always count on him to come through for us, a solid, dependable role player. I felt really bad for the guy in 2013 as he just started pressing too hard - I always knew he was capable of better, and honestly thought he would break out of his funk - sigh, wasn't meant to be. Good luck in Cleveland Murph, have a great 2 years (except when you play the Rangers). :suds:

Good riddance..... Guy could not have been any worse last year. Hopefully, Moreland is next.

Murphy represented the organization very well and he'll be missed. Anyone saying anything otherwise is wrong about their opinion. That's right, I said it. Their opinion is wrong.

And as always you contribute very little if anything to this board.

I asked Richard Durrett once in the in-game chat if Murph was as nice as he seems to be, Durrett responded "even nicer, everybody likes him"

Go Murph Dawg, comeback season!

(but you can ground out against us)

Very Cool, thanks for sharing...he's been at the top of my list since he arrived

1) This is still funny.
2) Murphy does NOT EVEN FLINCH
3) Kinsler didn't flinch either, and how about Beltre and Kinsler essentially saying "play ball"
4) EA always funny as usual

5)Oh Nap, lolol

Hahaha I was at that game. So fucking scary. There is no sound I can compare that to... Louder than a gunshot. I guess it was comparable to what a bomb might sound like? Not sure but my ears rang for the next two days. The woman in the row in front of me spilled her beer on herself lol.

That was such a strange occurrence though, because there was not one sign of lighting the whole night. It had been lightly sprinkling, rain wise but nothing that would indicate bad weather. I still to this day that lighting hit the foul pole or something which is why it resonated so loud.

I bet it was scary, on tv it was loud enough to startle you, can't imagine sitting there
