    Everyone is an expert...

    Kingsbury is an awful hire.
McCarthy sucks and nobody should hire him
Arians was an awful hire by the Cards
Arians is an awful hire by the Bucs
Frank Reich was an awful hire
Anthony Lynn was an awful hire
Andy Reid was washed up and should retire
    etc. etc. etc.

    Let's not forget about these...
    Pederson was an awful hire
    McVay was an awful hire
    Nagy was an awful hire

If a team doesn't hire a literal Belichick clone they made an awful decision.

Personally, I like the outside the box thinking by the cards. They are the worst team in the league, if there was any time to take a risk, it would be now. We know Kingsbury can put together a great offensive team and the cards had the worst offense in the league. Kind of makes sense to me.

Now somebody tell me who is the sure fire, next Belichick that the Cards should have hired or any of the other for-mentioned teams for that matter.

For the record. I do the same shit so don't think I am excluding myself. Like the thread title says, it's my favorite thing about hoopla

    I liked all those hires.

Except Frank Reich. Didn't want to lose him from the offensive staff.

    McCarthy does suck though.

Yeah and about your hire, who gives a shit what the cardinals do after that last try? Hiring and firing a coach in one year is some real clown car shit.

No one should want to coach them and no one really does. Please get it right this time and quit embarrassing the NFC.

think most are good hires, the pack hire is a head scratcher, may work out, but head scratcher none the less

Well you care enough to post about it. So there’s that..

And... Either you didn’t see them perform or you don’t understand football (I’m thinking a little of both). Wilks was awful in every aspect of coaching. He didn’t deserve a second year.

And i’m sure nobody wants one of 32 jobs that pays multiple millions. Even the guy that chose the Cards over the Jets.

You used the exact words I said to my father in law last night when he texted me about the hire " outside the box"
Personally I think its one of those hires that can be huge for the Cards if the next pretty boy on the west coast can see all the good things Rosen can do in a game.

No shit, this is a place where people debate and share opinions. Kind of the point. What are you going to say "Hey, I believe this... but I don't know shit. So, if you disagree - you're probably correct." lol

Well, if we are talking about Kingsbury, what would make him a good HC? That - I think - is the risk.

How many succesful college coaches have gone directly from college HC to NFL HC and had more than flash-in-the-pan success? Kelly, Harbough, Saban? All miserable failures quite quickly.

I think that a lot of people who criticize the hire would have more faith in him succeeding as an OC, and then becoming a HC rather than immediately jumping in as a HC. Being a HC for an NFL team is a completely different job compared to being HC for a college team.

Harbaugh was awesome. Took a dumpster fire franchise and took them to the SB. And once he left, they went right back to being a dumpster fire. Jim Harbaugh is one of the best coaches in football. Period.
