Sardinas is switch-hitter known as good defender at SS, 2B, Played for Bogar in Texas 2 years ago and was highly-rated prospect.

I really liked Flores so this stings a bit for me. I don't know much about Sardinas.

Luis Sardinas, a 22 year old middle infielder with a purportedly excellent glove and little to no bat.

Also this trade could potentially open up the possibility of packaging Taylor, who presumably would have more value on the market than Sardinas, for yet another trade, as Jerry just can't stop making trades.

These trades most likely ALL won't work out, but SOME will.

I like that Jerry has a plan, a PLAN to build a team with players that fit together.
Rather than signing top FA's just because they are ranked high but don't fit.

Here's to hoping that Cano and Cruz still fit this 'plan'.
