No, not that one silly people.

Seattle Mariners
Signed:
LHP Misael Siverio, 3B Leury Bonilla (re-signed)
Misael Siverio is a 25-year-old lefthander who pitched six seasons in Serie Nacional for Villa Clara, so he’s exempt from the international bonus pools. He was an effective pitcher in Cuba but he’s a modest prospect at best by major league standards, throwing in the mid- to high 80s without a swing-and-miss pitch among his secondary offerings. During the 2012-13 season, his final year in Cuba, Siverio recorded a 1.90 ERA, 81 strikeouts and 34 walks in 118 innings over 20 starts. (Ben Badler)

According to Ryan Divish over at the Seattle Times, the 25 year-old left hander will be skipping spring training next year in favor of an invitation to February's minor league mini-camp. He comes to the Mariners from Cuba carrying a solid four-pitch lefty arsenal including, supposedly, a nasty curveball. Sound familiar?

Now, Sivero's similarities with Elias probably end there--he apparently tops out in the high-eighties, is only 5'9", and started his career in the bullpen. A detailed scouting report can be found here, and you should definitely check out what Amazin' Avenue had to say about him when he became a free agent last July. Apparently, he defected during a state-approved exhibition series with the Cuban team in Iowa last year, which should illustrate just how varied the experiences of these players can be

Ya, that seems to be the only types of Cubans we sign. With all the big Cuban bats out there the last few years, we sign 2 lower level pitchers.
