Haniger back from the DL and 1 at bat and will probably go back onto the DL for a sprained ankle. At least he got a base hit first though.
For those that didn't see he rolled his ankle swinging the bat and hopped to first and was pulled right after. It didn't look that bad though but he was limping.

Watching it live I thought he tore his knee. Amazing it is a high ankle sprain...at least so far. MRI in the morning I believe.

He will learn quickly that what he got away with in AA ball ( cookies, center cut middle - middle ) will get smashed in the Bigs. You gotta' make your livin' on the edges of the plate in the show if you want to be a main stay in the rotation.

With Haniger out, Julio & Kelenic trying to figure things out and Winker with a slow start, we really need an outfielder to step up at the plate.

Luckily it was "just" a high ankle sprain.

Hopefully he gets healthy quickly.
