Not sure if we need game threads anymore but what the heck. M's have gone FROM 24 games over .500 and 11 1/2 games ahead of Oakland TO 13 games over .500 and 9 1/2 behind Oakland. 9 consecutive strike outs and 3 errors in Wednesday's game? And we got swept in both 2 games series against the team with the fewest wins in all National League teams! It's probably a good thing that there's only 17 games left because the way they have been playing lately we'll hopefully be able to end the season maybe a little above .500. We should be able to win 5 out of 17 I would think.

Ha- Just when you think things can't get any worse, you see that the M's actually can get worse. Going from 26th preseason to 30th (last) end of season. Yep..... extend Dipoto's contact, he's really making things happen.

I wonder how long ownership will keep Dipoto and Servais on the payroll? How many more bobble(fuck)head giveaways will it take to keep the fans coming through the gates?

a few free agent could do the trick.........and a platoon guy for seager.......but they have to be the right ones ..ya know
maybin did not work out..niether did duke.....cant trade like that at this point

but tuivailala is good and will be next year as well
warren is a good pitcher even though he has not been great for the mariners


and it shows ..why.. i have been evaling the mariners minors and the next draft

mariners have good pitchers at dsl though.. that could help in a few years

the bull pen will be the strength of the mariners pitching for a few years..like the royals were when they were a playoff team
it will be a few years before we see a good young pitcher like tiajuan wakler again

niedirt is good....but he is no young felix...which is what the mariners need

Nick Neidert has continued to outpitch his stuff since coming over from the Mariners in the Gordon deal, and he could wind up being the best pickup in that transaction. The 21-year-old went 12-7 with a 3.24 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 154 strikeouts in 152.2 innings at Double-A.

So glad Seager was stellar at the plate again. The asshole strikes out more times than everyone....except Zunino. LOL Yeah, he got a bomb last night. Big deal. He still sucks as far as I'm concerned. An overpaid, overweight mariner who is a waste of oxygen.
