Michigan's record vs
Kansas: 3-0
Kentucky: 1-0
UNC: 1-2
Duke: 6-0
MSU: 68-34-5
UConn: 2-0
Syracuse: 5-4-1
Indiana: 54-9
UCLA: 8-3

So against basketball schools Michigan is 148-52-6. So sure, there were a couple of loses, that's going to happen when you have a sample size of 200+ games.
I'm looking for a P5 college football team that lost to two badketball schools in the past 2 years. Like how Mizzou lost to Indiana and Kentucky. Almost lost to Uconn too tho :L

Well, define "basketball school"

Because outside of MSU, Michigan hasn't lost to any. Which we do have to give MSU credit (as much as it pains me) they aren't a slouch in the footballing. Hell, it even extends past Dantonio, Duffy Daugherty had a great run at MSU in the 1950's/60's, including two natties. While Indiana and Kentucky have never been good at football.

A school known solely for basketball with a mediocre football team. Exclude teams like MSU,UCLA,Wisky etc......

Then in that case, Michigan hasn't lost to one of those schools, well with the one possible exception of Maryland last year ( :L ). But it isn't like Maryland is really either a basketball school nor a football school, not having a lot of success in either, some, but not a lot.

Looks like Mizzou may keep that distinction

I disagree because Mizzou always does this in the preseason, especially since they had the wrong QB starting the entire time. If Mauk stayed at QB, I think we would have struggled to make a bowl game. With Lock, I think mizzou is dangerous

what preseason? Do you mean non-conference? Do you even watch football?!?

Some of you forgot that Florida barely beat Kentucky, should have lost to Tennessee and didn't play great against East Carolina. Ole Miss looked like they didn't want to be at the game last week.

Sounds like a confident winner this week?!?

We are quickly leading to some tangent argument that the best CFB team could beat the worst NFL team...

Circle of life Simba... same arguments, different year.

Good to be back in college football forums!

What officials are being used for the Missouri vs Detroit Lions game? If it's the Seattle or Dallas officials we're fucked.

What is amazing is some of you think you actually know college football. Mizzou is starting a ridiculous amount of freshman, redshirt freshman and sophomores. Maty Mauk was a very inaccurate QB and our best RB was injured on pretty much the first drive of the season when he got rolled up on his ankle. Double that with the OC keeping everything really vanilla on offense you get that kind of stuff. Mizzou did it last year early as well, still won 11 games and the East.

LOL!!

You forgot that Missouri actually lost to Kentucky which is worse than barely beating them. Missouri also didn't play great against Arkansas State and UConn

That is because I CLEARLY know that when I said Preseason, I was talking about Non Con.....DUH

Mauk was not good...its why the offense struggled last year. Our Defense and running game is why we won the East last year

Didn't you think Missouri was really good when Mauk was the QB?

Why should we believe you now?

We were good last year because we had a really good defense and running game.....Mauk was not very good
