Watched GoHam playing it in the MKX hype launch last night.

Looks cool. I haven't played MK in a long time. Good timing for a new one on xbone and ps4.

Im more of a Guilty Gear, Tekken, Street Fighter guy. I do play Injustice with my gf but the whole experience feels pretty mashy because the physics engines to MK games always feels weird to me.

It's a game I love having around for a change of pace. Which makes it a neccisity to own.

I played MKX yesterday for about five hours. I spent some time getting the hang of the game in single-match fights, got through some chapters in the story mode and explored the Krypt. There's a lot in the game I haven't even touched yet and half the fighters I haven't even tried out yet. The $60 I dropped on it will be well worth it for me.

Oh my those are brutal.

10 year old me would have loved them and screamed "awesome!". Now I'm like "Awesome!...wait...I'm a terrible person. That's a little much". The ones where the characters eat the others are especially brutal and overkill. But I must admit, I did laugh at Johnny Cage splitting open his daughter's (seriously WTF!) lungs, peaking through, and saying "Heeeeeeere's Johnny!"

I use a lot of characters in Tekken. Feng is probably my best but in Tekken 6 I used Jun/Unknown and Ganryu a lot.

In GG, I use a lot of character but I haven't played the new one as much as Id like. Generally Zato 1 and Potemkin are my best characters.

I used Leo and Nina in Tekken Tag 2/6 with a little Bryan, Asuka and Bob.. GG I used Dizzy,Testament and Sol.. Didn't really have time to play Xrd however, was trying to learn Ky, sucked that my mains weren't in it...

Edit: I assume you meant TTT2 when you say Jun/Unknown becuase they weren't in T6

As for MKX.. I'm debating whether to get that or the Dark Souls 2 remake on PS4..
