More changes at DT for Patriots with release of Chris Jones, Ishmaa'ily Kitchen

The Patriots have released defensive tackles Chris Jones and Ishmaa'ily Kitchen on Friday. Jones is a fourth-year player who missed all of last season due to injury and was scheduled to earn $1.67 million in 2016. He was considered a top candidate to replace the recently released Dominque Easley, but the club might have viewed his salary as too rich based in part on him coming off a serious calf injury.
