So I have played with the sim and I had a trade offer of
Pick 41
2022 Detroit 1st Round
2022 LA Rams 1st Round
2022 Detroit 3rd Round

for Pick 9.

That is a lot to get but you give up a 1st round pick this year. If you run it back with Lock it would give a lot of options to trade up or down for the guy they really want. Hurts moving down that far but instant war chest.

Not sure I would do it but it is an interesting thought.

CJ Verdell isn’t even in this years draft. Lol

Etienne before Harris and we good. ;)
Thought it would draw Nick K out it didn't lol. He values RB in highest regard

Funny thing is I didn't really want to go QB at 9, but Wilson falling to me there is insane. The rest of the draft is okay I guess.

I love how drafting the top CB at 9 is a D.

Alright here is mine. Didn't realize that in these trades you can ask for the moon and almost every time they will give it to you. So went weak with my first trade.

If the Broncos could trade down and still get Farley in the 1st that would be a major win for the organization.

I also went at this mock with the idea of getting some 2022 capital to help in a trade for Watson. Getting the Raiders 1st round pick is just icing on the cake in the 2nd round.

I added a ton of edge talent. Not really what I planned on but figure Von is gone soon and Reed isn't far behind. So need to add a bunch of young players to the unit so that I can pay Chubb here in a year or two and still have a strong unit.

Also love the players I added for the offense with Javonte Williams looking like a true stud at the RB position, Brown could be a solid tackle for years to come, and Josh Myers to push on the interior unit.

Also didn't want to forget about special teams so added maybe the fastest player in the draft and might be in the NFL in Anthony Schwartz. That kid is a big play waiting to happen.

I really like your mock. I keep going back and forth on which CB I like best in the first round. I think Farley,Surtain, and Horn would be great additions. I am sold on Richie Grant.

I would like to see us add 2 CBs and 2 safeties in this draft. Both positions are pretty thin depth wise. I also like the potential of Jabril Cox.

Edge, Dline, and RT are other positions that we may need addition depth depending on what happens in free agency and if we release Von and James.

Here is the haul I got from SF to move up from 9 to 12 to score Trey Lance. You would think he was the second coming of that prima donna in Houston. Haha #unrealistic

I agree with this post. Also like the big HB from Oklahoma. Someone to punish Ds late in the game and in short yardage.

Love all top 3CBs but wonder about Farley’s injury history. Love the tape on both Syracuse CBs. Load me up with those two (trading back) right now and call it a day. Love Jabril Cox. He’s a riser. Also, Snowden from UVA is intriguing late. Maybe a bias though because my kid played against him when Snowden was at St Albans in DC. Check him out. Coming off a broken ankle, too, so a question mark slider?

I've played around with these. Some are very unrealistic. I think it is the PFF one where you can mess with the settings like "Draft for Need", "Randomness" and stuff. I had a crazy mock with that one. Players were going way later. I'll see if I can post one...

What would it take (trade downs wise) to land a extra 2nd and 3rd rounder in 21 and 22 #1.

You are probably looking at trading somewhere in the 25 pick or later range. Couple of years ago Broncos traded from 10 to 20 and got their 1st, 2nd, and a future 3rd round pick. My guess is if teams are trying to trade up to 9 from that far back it is because of a QB and Broncos could ask for a bit more and maybe get that extra 1st.

Honestly if the Broncos don't get a trade done for Watson then getting that 2022 capital would be huge as the offseason progresses in becoming the top trade candidate with Houston. Being able to offer them 2 1st round picks in 2022 would go a long ways in making something happen.

Agreed. And if Lock takes that leap to be a top 8-12 QB then maybe we use the extra draft capital to build depth, and and youth. The other thing we can do is use the extra picks to trade up to get a QB if there is one we really like. If Watson is not traded, next offseason could be crazy with QBs being available. Dak and Ryan might be FAs, and then Watson potentially available in a trade.
