Hey Guys here is a site I use that is kind of fun it allows you to play GM. I allows you to offer trades and move around the draft then it grades your draft. If bored it's pretty decent.

Did Bill trade off all of the late round picks?

I went in picked the Patriots and played and only got to draft 3 players. Nothing after Round 3 and that was it.

Maybe the US Gov't reinstituted the military draft and there were no more players?

Before you enter draft in the upper right hand side you have to select 7 rounds, it defaults at three

I thought so.

Love Dean but depending on how McGrone, Perkins and Hall faired after the off season...if I'm coach and feel pretty good about the LBs I may switch that first pick to a lineman. Either side of the ball depending on who is still available.

I really hope we get an X WR in FA not sure that will happen. We really don't know a lot about McGrone and Perkins so we just have to trust the decision BB makes. I would love to see something along these lines.

OT
LB or DE
OG oe C
DB
WR

Bored Again tried one with multiple trades, not that I have any idea what BB will do, but trading out makes sense to me and adds depth.

I'll go with your trades Plus one and Bill ends up 12 pick. Typical Bill, completely looks to the future of the Defense and still gives Mac two outstanding new targets as well as a G and Ot who can step in now if need be.

R2 #36 OT Trevor Penning - Northern Iowa
R2 #54 WR Christian Watson - North Dakota State
R2 #63 Trade to Dallas Cowboys for #88 (Compensatory R5 #176 R5 #178)
R3 #81 E Boye Mafe - Minnesota
R3 #85 CB Roger McCreary - Auburn
R3 #88 LB Christian Harris - Alabama
R4 #127 S Kirby Joseph - Illinois
R5 #176 TE Jelani Woods - Virginia
R5 #178 G William Dunkle - San Diego State
R6 #200 WR Romeo Doubs - Nevada
R6 #209 E Isiah Thomas = Oklahoma
R6 #210 DT John Ridgeway - Arkansas

In the end with all the needs I do feel BB needs to trade down twice and early and pick up additional picks late round two through round five. There is talent there, talent which is ready and talent that needs development

I'm going to go out on a limb here.
Jalen Pitre is an in the box safety. He cannot be a top 100 pick as a CB but might make it as a Patrick Chung type safety.
Jackson, Asamoah and Metchie don't get picked in top 100
Diesch is a developmental project who has a low floor and potentially a high ceiling. Being a tackle means he could draft anywhere from 3rd round on back. Just don't know. He has a lot to fix. Interview might make you love him or walk away......

So here is my final mock before the actual draft. Been working on it a few days and of course it’s just one man’s opinion. It consists of one trade and likely to the dismay of some lacks a DE. I still feel the Pats have prospect rushers in McGrone and Pekins and I haven’t given up on Jennings.. I also felt losing O linemen this year bumped the need for O line. You will also note two WR selections this current group needs to feel like they are fighting for their positions. There may not be a great need for RB so I took one I like late don’t let the small school fool you.

Round 1; Trade NYG

Giants Receive Round One 21 and Round Five 158

Pats Receive Round Two 36 and Round Three 67

They do a mock draft every year here on the Hoop. I drafted for the Patriots. I was pleased with the results.

I didn't know much about Tyler Badie until this mock draft. After researching him.... I really like him alot. First team SEC. Academic All American. Great at catching the ball. Could be a late round steal.

And we love pass catching RBs, did it mention how well he picks up blocks? What's his size do you recall?
