As you can see this is my team. I was in this league more than a decade ago but most of the people in the league weren't in it when I was. I wasn't sure how these people draft, if everyone wants a QB right away my second pick wouldn't be until pick 32, all of the best QB's could have been gone.

Nope, but nice try. Just wanted peoples thoughts. However if someone had something negative to say I was hoping they would have more reasons why than they just like telling me they don't like my team.

well, i can go deeper if you want...

And dont get me wrong i do see some things i like your depth is good, you dont have many holes...

but the things i dont like are simple...

by taking QB with your first pick at #5 overall you missed an opportunity to get one of the clear top 6 players in fantasy this season...

with 18 teams, i get the urge to get the best QB in the game if not an elite QB, but you definitely paid the price to do it...

the problem with this season in drafting is also that there are so many rookie RBs that have great hype.... Hampton and Harvey, you were never going to get at a cheap price, so you are paying for both, not quite at their ceilings, but certainly not at their floors...

if Najee doesnt play early on then sure the Hampton pick will look great.... but Harvey has Dobbins to compete with... sure that doesnt sound like much, but dobbins should be better than harvey in early weeks until he gets hurt(which we know he will)...

and with addison being suspended for the first three games, and nobody really knowing what and when Rice's suspension is and when it starts(the assumption is that everything will happen after week 4- but who really knows??)

makes me very nervous about your team in the beginning of the season...

i do like that you got addison and RIce, as i assume you paid less for them because of their suspensions, so value is definitely there...

i probably should have asked how many playoff teams are in this league... because most of my worries are about the beginning of the season, which just makes it harder for you to make it to the playoffs, but with 18 teams you may be doing a larger playoff, where it could be a little easier to make it....

I felt I had to take a QB in the first because I don't know how these people draft. I think because of the possible points for a QB Allen is my anchor. Looking at the draft results now, I could have gone RB in the first with Gibbs and Barkley going 6 and 7 right after me and although Allen would have been gone once we got to my second pick but I could have had Mahomes in round 2. However Allen scored 124 more points in 2024 than Mahomes. Also with Montgomery back and healthy with Detroit I don't see Gibbs going for 2,000 yards and 20 TD's and there was zero chance I took Barkley, he had nearly 400 touches last year and most backs with a huge season don't follow it up with another one. I did draft a lot of young players and too many rookies but they have good upside.

Addison is 3 games but when he comes back i'll be getting a #2 receiver on a good offense I think he was a decent pick where I got him. Round 7. From what i've read and heard Rice won't be disciplined until 2026.
