WOW. Brees just made an amazing play. Flushed out of the pocket and looking like he's merely running toward the sidelines, Brees jukes a defender to buy more time, then completes a pass for the first down.

Coughlin currently challenging if Brees was still behind the line when he threw the pass.

EDIT: AND the play is upheld. First Down NO.

The giants have talent on there team...but they been hit with the injury bug all season.Half there starters on defense are hurt and bradshaw is out with a knee injury.I'm not surprised they are losing this game!! I also think that if the giants don't make the playoffs this year Coughlin won't be there head coach next season

Brees is scary at home. The wind at Candlestick slowed him down for half the game last year, otherwise it could have been this ugly for the 49ers.

This is why the #2 seed is so important.

I don't know, I counted at least 5 plays where Deon Grant blew coverage. Badly. Others where he missed tackles. He's a starter.

Although I do agree that Coughlin will be gone if they don't make the playoffs.

I was gonna post the same thing but I'll piggyback off yours instead. If the 49ers end up having to play the Saints at their place they are in big trouble. The #2 seed is an absolute must if they hope to go anywhere in the post season.
