i actually didn't think they looked terrible last night.. i thought they definitely tried, but the stupid mistakes were still there.. including a behind the back, no-look pass to the slot by hartnell to give the sabres the breakaway finish in ot

That really was the worst part. We played pretty well throughout the night. Not perfect, but a lot more consistently than we had been. And then Hartnell throws out a pass so bad that had Buffalo not intercepted it, I'm sure it would have found its way into our net on its own.

i'd give it around a 6 or 7?

the effort was definitely there.. just a few dumb passes and passes that shoulda been shots.. they looked like a frustrated team last night, trying to hard for a pretty goal
