Good stat. I don't know this stat across other franchises, so Mitchell's feat with the Jazz are the first that I know if, for my knowledge.

I learned something from @MHSL82. :) He finally TOLD me something, that I didn't read or hear elsewhere on the internet!

This season:

1. How many games do you think the Jazz shot better from on two point field goal attempts than free throws?

2. How many games did the Jazz make more three pointers than free throws?

3. How many times did the Jazz attempt more free throws than three point shots?

4. Did the Jazz ever shoot more three point shots than 2 point shots?

Do you remember what the topic was about, in those "Yet another question for Nuraman" threads, on the ESPN boards?

Was it that the Jazz didn't take that many 3's, but it wasn't a big deal?

If so, interesting now in that they take the most 3's among teams, as of right now in this season.

Question: What do the three columns represent?

Column 1: Year (Example - 2020 means 2020-21

Column 2: How many games until the Jazz Won 25, 82* means they won fewer than 25.

Column 3: How many games the Jazz won by the 31st game.

Column 4: Record that season or rate in 82 games (this season and 50 game lockout season extrapolated).

Sometimes the 25th win came in the middle of a winning streak, so the number looks worse than it would soon be. Sometimes, the 31st game was in the middle of a losing streak, so technically they got worse soon.

Checkout the first year. They started 3-22 and ended 23-57. In fact, they started 5-42 and then went 18-17 to finish.

Number of games they won when making more 3's, number of games they lost when making less 3's, and then the percentage. I guess the games not counted are when they tied in making 3's.
