No I was kinda shocked reading as well, ( he was 5-0 down in Tacoma)
I think it was like you said "trust".... There would be times he looked like he was starting to get it and then he gives a long ball and he would never recover from it......

I always liked Miranda and thought he would develop into a decent middle to bottom of the rotation starter. Agree he never really seemed to get a chance for whatever reason, don't know what goes on behind the scenes though. I mean I personally would have given him a shot over guys like Erasmo or Leblanc, but they apparently didn't agree.

It seemed clear that he tumbled down the depth chart. A shame because there was something about him that was very intriguing but he just couldn't put it together consistently
