This guy was a near top 150 prospect out of high school.......will have 3 years at Nebraska if he transfers...........he says it is likely that he will do so.

Would be a huge pick up for the Huskers.

Congrats. He wasn't the greatest player in the world but I liked him a lot and he has a lot of potential. If I remember correctly he is pretty good at playing passing lanes. Sad to see him go, but am excited about what we have coming in, although I doubt ya'll care about this part.

Petteway averaged 27 points, nine rebounds and 3.5 assists his senior season of high school, when he was also recruited by Auburn, Colorado, Clemson, SMU and UTEP. TexasHoops.com rated him the 10th best player in the state for the 2011 recruiting class.

Petteway must sit out the 2012-13 season per NCAA transfer rules. He’s the third player to sign under new coach Tim Miles; Nebraska now officially has one scholarship opening for next season.
