WR Michael Thomas
Is he worth kicking the tires on a 1 yr deal?

in my opinion yes if the price is right , he is a very good wr with health issues . depends on costWR Michael Thomas

I understand we don't want Thomas around for long but he would be a larger WR for Daniels. 1 yr $10m should work. That would give Daniels targets such as Thomas, McClaurin, Dotson, Eckler, Ertz, Sinnot & McCafferey. Not bad if you ask me.in my opinion yes if the price is right , he is a very good wr with health issues . depends on cost

That clears the cap doesn’t it ? His 10 mil isn’t on the books next year making it available . I get the roll over but we are still in the high 90 ‘s maybe 100 mil next yrHe problem with spending 10 million on a “I hope he is healthy“ guy and “I hope he can produce like he used to” is that is 10 million less we have to spend on good players next season.
Huh? It's this season, $10m and he is gone after. Why would we have less next year?He problem with spending 10 million on a “I hope he is healthy“ guy and “I hope he can produce like he used to” is that is 10 million less we have to spend on good players next season.
Gotcha you. So when the salary cap increases next year, there will be more available room. Yes, we could save that $10m or give our rookie QB a larger target besides our smurfs.A team may carry over salary cap space from one league year to the following league year by submitting notice to the NFL prior to 4 p.m. EDT on the day following the team's final regular-season game. A team can carry over 100 percent of its remaining 2023 room to its adjusted salary cap for 2024.
This is what GK is talking about
Yes so GK is making the valid argument that saving the money and applying it to next year is better then gambling on Thomas’s healthGotcha you. So when the salary cap increases next year, there will be more available room.

I want the production ability of a 149 rec 1,725 yard WR that he can bring. Not saying he will ever put up those numbers but we don't need that with McClaurin, Dotson, Ertz, Eckler, Sinnot in tow. Not sure defenses would have an answer to that.Michael Thomas has not been productive since 2019. That is the last time he had a season worth 10 mil.
Why not just pay Martavis Bryant one million if you want height?

Lol, says who, you? C'mon man.Except he doesn’t have that ability anymore.

He should come cheap then according to your break down.According to what he has done on the field.
2020- 7 games, 40 catches on 55 targets, 438 yards with 0 TDs.
2021- DNP
2022- 3 games, 16 catches on 22 targets, 171 yards and 3 TDs.
2023- 10 games, 39 catches on 64 targets, 448 yards and 1 TD.
Sorry but that wonderful catch rate of 61% is lousy. MT does not scare anybody. He is slow and doesn’t play in the same manner he once did.
No. Too injury prone.WR Michael Thomas
