I would actually lean the opposite way. Hearing he had this injury makes sense why he didn't play as well as he did last year.

Thats a possibility - or he truly is overrated and just sucked ass this past season.

This is why I hate and really don't care for when guys reveal about significant injuries after the fact(game,season).

If they claim to have played a game/season injured and have a bad game it too often is used as an excuse for them stinking it up.

If they have a good game under similar circumstances its like their are god.

Anyhow, if the Heat feel as though they can improve themselves by moving him in some way -- they shouldn't hesitate.

Draymond Green is the Warriors James Johnson - a guy who shoots more 3's than he needs to considering his position, size, weight etc.

24 more minutes away from seeing The Queen fail miserably in Cleveland again at the hands of the Warriors -- wonder if Wade is there to console his boyfriend at games end

The Heat have informed Rodney McGruder that they will retain him(as expected) past the deadline of tonight to guarantee his contract - per Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald.

Free Agency begins sunday.

Queen James off to the LA Fakers. Kawahi trade could be next for them - we can now get back to our normal lives and regular free agency/trade season now that the Queen has made her decision. Another coaches career is about to be slightly derailed by the ultimate home-wrecker.


Will his boyfriend join him in LA or stay in Miami?


On a different and better note, we now only have to deal with the Queen James SportsHoopla in Miami only once a year for the next couple seasons.

Time for me to rant again, as I have done so a couple of times since after the all-in approach we took during the big 3 era - as to the Heat taking way too long to get involved in the FA process.

I know we are somewhat hand-cuffed financially and I know we've made some in-house additions with McGruder and Jones Jr - AND while I have been preaching youth movement which we need -- I think those moves are fairly insignificant as far as the moves we need to make/can make in order to improve this roster.

The Heat need to start getting involved in talks with SOMEONE at some point -- otherwise there will be no excuse when the season comes around and roster flaws are exposed due to ineffectiveness on the court or injuries.

This team needs to be improved. And they need to stop making the excuses that they don't have enough chips to make some moves -- because they do - limited as they may be.

As one person said - the Heat have been loading up on these "chips" now for a couple of seasons - they now must be willing to use them now that they could make great use of moving them - and stop making the excuse they don't have pieces to move.

Get what you can for them - especially if the means some more cap space
