Silly decision by Tannehill there - first such decision of the game for him. Played to the crowd getting hyped about getting Gesicki involved(which I am all for) but you don't force the situation because of it - he tried to force something that was not there and he paid for it -- lets see how the defense reacts and if we can keep momentum

I think that it was a great call as Gesicki is way taller than the CB and its one on one. Just horrible execution Tanny needs to lob that. Better yet Gesicki should just run stop at the goalline and jump. I could make that throw...

We can agree to disagree. And, at this point of the day I don't recall the entire scenario that led to that play - so I can't remember if we were in the no-huddle or not, but that would be one of the negatives:you rush the play - you have fallen in love so to speak -- with a particular target, so its easy for the defense to get an idea of where the play might go -- the entire situation was telegraphed.

I know many will want to blame Tannehill but both players have some blame there -- Tannehill for forcing the issue -- and Gesicki for not playing defense when he realized he had no shot at the play.

And, of course -- some blame to Gase for putting the team in a bad situation there with that play call.

Again, I will never get tired of saying this -- you want to play the role of tough guy with your play calling? Fine. But at some point you have to realize that playing it smart is the better way to go.
