Hopefully Rosen finally gets a real shot to showcase his stuff.

The old guy is absolutely worthless. He makes a lot of dumb decisions for a guy that supposedly is a Harvard grad.

Eagles differ after winning the coin toss - because they know with old, bum Fitzpatrick , the Dolphins will be pass-happy. He throws a pick on the very first play/pass -- and its only a matter of time before Fitzpatrick wrecks another game for the Dolphins.

And the Eagles score off the gift given to them by Fitzpatrick.

Devante Parker saves Fitzpatrick on that throw to get the Dolphins on the board.

Flores calls on a trick play - punter tosses it to the kicker and the Fins take a 1-point lead. Save for that one play that Parker bailed out Fitzpatrick, the Fins seem better off when they have someone other than Fitzpatrick at QB lineup.

You rail on Fitz a lot but he is the only reason miami has any wins and why they are in this game. Unreal dude

Parker having himself a game today. Cox opens up a nice hole for Laird to give the Dolphins a lead

Much like with the Dolphins, Adam Gase and the Jets gift the Bengals their first win of the season. Adam Gase is a true Miami legend now.

Makes all the more important for the Dolphins to get this win.

37-31 the Dolphins pull off the victory -- an upset of sorts. A crucial win considering the Adam Gase and the Jets gifted the Bengals their first win of the season.

Now, on to take on those Jets

Most people call it constructive criticism. As I always say, viewpoints on things don't always have to be positive in order to have an opinion - nor is it a bad thing to be constructively critical.

I am sick and tired of going back and forth with people about how they choose to interpret my words with how they feel on a matter.

But, to be clear -- here are my thoughts on Fitzpatrick -- AGAIN:He is a quality player. A smart player, on and off the field. He may not have the rings to show for it, but his accomplishments in the league speak for themselves. That being said, for all the hype that he provides, we have seen that those same qualities often come back to hurt him AND the team.

As we all know, the Dolphins are in a rebuilding process -- some of the decisions he makes are simply a setback to that process. This is my beef with him and the fact that he is still starting.

Obviously, I am grateful for the wins. NO ONE in here is happier about the wins than me -- but I am aware of how some of his decisions have been a setback in this process.

Prior to this game, there were many reports about the week of practice that Rosen had - I will say the same thing I have been saying all year - hopefully he gets another shot to showcase himself before seasons end.

I don't think there will be a better time(other than maybe against the Bengals), than this week to send him out there to start -- it will be a "soft" landing of sorts against a Gase-coached team.

On another positive note, former Dolphin, Ryan Tannehill with another great day with the Titans -- good things are happening for guys no longer under the "leadership" of Gase.

Even more good news, with todays win and a series of other results, the Dolphins have IMPROVED their draft positioning to 4th in the draft rather than 1st pick as it seemed like it was going to be early on in the season.

It was a great day today.
