Chad O'Shea, WR coach of the Cheatriots rumored to be a potential OC for the Dolphins - He has been thought of as the next OC of the Cheatriots as well in times where they thought McDaniels would leave for an HC job.

Jim Caldwell is still thought to be joining the staff but more so as a offensive advisor/assistant HC/assistant-offensive OC/QB coach - the Fins are clearly trying to strengthen their staff/team with quality young and experienced coaches.


The team and organization is trying to put together as strong a staff as possible. Great coaches and even better individuals. These guys won't have a problem putting their egos aside for the better of the team. These won't be guys who think they are bigger than the players or the organization as a whole.

For those of you going nuts about names to be drafted, take note of the guys being hired in front office and coaching roles -- this is the EXACT blueprint they will use to put together this roster - be it through the draft, trades, FA.

Of note, of all the new HC hires that occurred in the NFL so far this off-season, Brian Flores is the ONLY one to receive a fully five-year guaranteed contract -- all others involve options.

Dom Capers also rumored to be interested in joining the staff . I wouldn’t mind it as long as he isn’t the one with play calling duties — IMO, he failed in such a role last time he was here .

Brian Flores has already been an improvement over Adam Gase given how he has structured his coaching staff. A good mix of youth and experience. A group of quality coaches -- not just a bunch of friends of his as was the case with fake tough guy, Adam Gase.

It's a concern because so far only the patsies have developed a program based on professional cheating. Most owners wouldn't put up with it except for the honourable Robert Kraft. He loves his trophies even though they are all tainted.

Karl Dorrell - is a hire I want to highlight for the Fins -- was WR/QB coach during the Sparano era, holding each title in separate moments for the team.

He came from coaching UCLA at the time - was thought of, at the time, and still is a great offensive mind -- many thought he would be the replacement when time came up for Sparano but obviously that was not the case.

He is back as a WR coach this time. I just think its another strong piece to the offensive staff that Flores has been able to hire.


In other news, LS/TE John Denney is back for another season with the Fins - Denney has been around since before dinosaurs walked the earth...kind of.

Cameron Wolfe is a reporter. His experience as a reporter with ESPN is expected to help "sugar coat" the Dolphins player moves to the Dolphins fans. In return , ESPN will provide glowing articles to gt "butts in the seats" in a losing season.....

Again this is not NE most reporters especially ESPN do not sugar coat the Fins that only happens in NE. The only reporters who are considered nice are on www.miamidolphins.com as they are hired by the Fins...the rest are sometimes beyond ridiculous. You really need to start listening to what the Fins reporters say about the team before shooting off...

Expect Chad O'Shea's Dolphins offense to emphasize playmakers

O’Shea is already a better offensive mind with the Dolphins than Adam Gase ever was . By being able AND willing to identify the teams strengths and weaknesses, and playing to that —-, he is preaching and committed to having the offense play smart football . Time of possession will be a priority . Not the wannabe tough guy crap we got with Gase always wanting to go for the big play regardless of how many times it failed and little sense it made .

Fundamentally sound football is making a comeback to Miami .

A little late on this -- Danny Amendola let go as a salary cap casualty. I thought he would remain on the team under Flores to help exemplify the type of team/WRs he wants. I am hopeful, but unlikely at this point -- that the Dolphins bring back Amendola at a friendlier price.
