BB made the right move.

Through seven games Mesko ranked 31st in avg and 29th in net avg while Allen ranks 12th and 14th through eight games. Better play and more cap room.

Really strange. It's not like they cut Mesko because he wasn't performing in preseason - he was up to his usual standards before he joined the Steelers.
